Where do we want to work in 2021?

Over the pandemic, a number of LinkedIn users have asked this question “where do you want to work”, making use of emojis; thumbs up, heart, claps, etc.

The responses have been informed after a prolonged Covid lock down, 10 months in the UK and NYC starting in March 2020.

LinkedIn is a global platform, so those responding come from all over the planet, (unluckily) the Covid19 pandemic has also been global forcing most countries to restrict personal interaction over a similar period.

Opinions are heavily influenced by strong drivers; personal needs, business needs, investment risk or concern about the future office market.

It is clear that a return by white collar workers to the Office is not the preference, despite the reported; isolation/ mental health issues, home schooling and cabin fever with children.

(assumed that most of the responders are not factory or manual workers.)
